2021 Annual Meeting Minutes

WHOA Annual Meeting December 2, 2021

  • Budget reviewed, increase in maintenance of common areas discussed, opportunity for questions, budget approved.
  • Discussion about bus shelter needing repair and roofing. Plan to form a group of neighbors to make repairs/paint and get estimate for a roof discussed for spring. Two neighbors made $150 donations each to put towards the improvements.
  • One neighbor offered to improve the center entrance with plants. The plants may need to be watered, and plants were previously stolen under suspicious circumstances.
  • Questions about different CC & R’s: parking on side streets is only for vehicles in working order and the vehicles can remain there for only 48 hours. A parked vehicle that does not appear to be running and is covered by a tarp is likely in violation of the CC & R’s. Motor homes need to be parked back alongside the home and flush or behind the front of the house.
  • The WHOA Board and ACC Committee clarified their position that they will address violations that are brought to their attention, but no members parole the neighborhood looking for specific violations.
  • All homeowners signed the WHOA agreement to abide by the CC & R’s, and homeowners are responsible for knowing what they are. They are posted.
  • Sending out reminders is one way to address violations. Otherwise the WHOA Board will send specific letters to individual homeowners alerting them to the need to fix the situation or risk the fine of $50 per month.
